Let us be clear: the right to life is not negotiable. It is protected by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and by jus cogens norms; those peremptory rules of international law that bind all states and actors without exception. Extrajudicial killings are a direct affront to these norms. They are crimes that cannot be justified by politics nor hidden behind sovereignty.

What’s happening in Tindouf is not just a humanitarian crisis; it is a collapse of legal and ethical order. Civilians are executed without trial, without evidence, without defence. Algerian authorities, by hosting and enabling these acts, share responsibility.

We mulst ask: where is the accountability? Where is the international response? Silence means complicity. International community must demand independent investigations, prosecutions of those responsible, and protection for the vulnerable. Jus cogens norms are not theoretical; they are the foundation of justice.

My message is this: let's come to action now. Please be in our mind that the rule of law must apply everywhere, even in the most remote corners of the desert. The Population of the Tindouf camps deserve justice, dignity, and freedom from fear.

I am Wilson Lalengke from Indonesia. Thank you very much.
